Wondering what to pin in the month of August?
I could write a whole post about all the things you could possibly pin in August but since you’re here as a wedding pro, I’m going to focus on wedding related topics. Lucky for you, there is really only one large wedding topic that you need to focus on in August. Any guesses what that may be?
FALL WEDDINGS!
Yup. Those Fall weddings are creeping up and brides and grooms-to-be are searching for inspiration, design ideas and a few last minute DIY projects.
Pinterest Trends
One of the first things I do when I think of a keyword that I might want to blog about is to test it out on Pinterest Trends. If you’re not sure what that’s all about, check out my last post all about How to Use Pinterest Trends. In this case, I typed in “fall weddings” to see when the peak of this keyword is. Turns out, it will be at its highest the week of September 3rd. According to that information, I know that I should start pinning my Fall Wedding inspiration at least 30-45 before then! August fall wedding blog, here I come!
Pinterest Keywords
Now, there’s bound to be more keywords that we can pin in August other than just “Fall Weddings”. In order to see what those might be, I head over to Pinterest and type “Fall Weddings” in the search bar to see what the drop down menu might suggest. A few keywords that I thought would be easy to blog about that came up are:
- Fall weddings outside
- Rustic Fall weddings
- Fall weddings with sunflowers
Promoted Pins
Have you been thinking about testing out Promoted Pins? This might be a great opportunity for wedding vendors of any category to do so. With Fall Weddings trending in August, it would be easy to promote one or more pins that lead to a great blog post your wrote or, even better, a downloadable freebie! A few ideas of a freebie that come to mind are:
- 5 Tips for Planning Your Outdoor Fall Wedding
- Best Fall Wedding Bouquets and What they Cost
- Your Fall Wedding Planning Checklist
- Top 10 Fall Wedding First Dance Songs
Time for you to get to work and be ready by the time August rolls around. Trust, me you DON’T want to miss out on this trends because it’s a popular one every year. Make sure to keep your content handy so you can repost (with updates and modifications) again next August!
To sum it up, if you’re in the wedding industry you better be pinning all about Fall Wedding inspiration in August!
